If you fly from an airport within the EU to another airport within the EU:

  • £210 / €250 for flights less than 1500km.
  • £340 / €400 for flights over 1500km.

If you fly from an airport within the EU to an airport outside of the EU (or vice versa):

  • £210 / €250 for flights less than 1500km.
  • £340 / €400 for flights over 1500km.

The Claims Process

Flight Delays will represent you against the airlines and where appropriate arrange for your legal representation in Court. Our claims process is very straightforward – and if the airlines comply, you could have your compensation within a few short weeks.

  • Start by filling in our online claim form or calling us directly. The more information you have, the quicker we can get started on your claim. However, don’t worry if you are missing some details – we can find out and fill in any blanks.
  • Once we have all the relevant details, we will send a Formal Letter of Claim (FLOC) to the airline in question and await their response.
  • If the airline hasn’t responded to us within 30 days we may instruct our trusted panel of solicitors to issue proceedings against them.
  • Once everything has been settled and the airline has paid up, we will send your cheque to you as soon as possible.
